That is a shame. There were several fights I was interested in getting. Is there anywhere else to get there fights?

Yep....All because of this...:

I've only just been made aware of this, via a friend who told me that Nikki Whiplash is about to take down all of her sites, due to a new law in the UK that comes in effect on 1st Dec.

Nikki tweeted yesterday;

"Facesitting, headscissoring and breath play content becomes prohibited for sale in the UK as of December 1st 2014."

It took some digging to find out the source of the new laws, and it appears to be all about the new European Audio Visual Media Services Directive;

https://melonfarmers.wordpress.com/category/atvod-vod-censor/

From what it appears, the entire UK adult industry could be impacted, in terms of how stringent the age verification process for the sale of such material would need to be. With specific regard to our interest, the list of prohibited content does include;

- the portrayal of sexual activity which involves real or apparent lack of consent. Any form of physical restraint which prevents participants from indicating a withdrawal of consent

Now, whether this could be interpreted as a femdom (or indeed any mixed wrestling/facesitting video) wherein the victim is being dominated, it's hard to say. Common sense says no, but this law doesn't seem to be based on anything approaching common sense.

Nikki apparently considers it serious enough to essentially close her business. Whether this will have further reaching effects remains to be seen.

It is disappointing, but it does explain why my subscription to lethalbitches.com was abruptly terminated.  I had a recurring subscription for months and only noticed it had been cancelled a few days ago.  Damned shame.

Thanks for explaining it to us, mate.

Well if it's based on new European Audio Visual Media Services Directive, how long will it be before other countries in the EU implement such restrictions?

Production will merely switch to non-EU countries.....UK producers could end up lowering their production costs, if they moved abroad.

So screw you, Cameron and your hypocritical, Illuminati, "Big Brother", do-gooders! I'm definitely voting UKIP at the next general election......

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/a-long-list-of-sex-acts-just-got-banned-in-uk-porn-9897174.html

Yep. The full banned list is as follows:

Spanking
Caning
Aggressive whipping
Penetration by any object "associated with violence"
Physical or verbal abuse (regardless of  if consensual)
Urolagnia (known as "water sports")
Role-playing as non-adults
Physical restraint
Humiliation
Female ejaculation
Strangulation
Facesitting
Fisting

Obviously it won't do much since content produced in other countries can still be viewed, but the list seems rediculous. I could understand things with children etc but that list seems very arbitrary. Bit of pain never hurt anyone eh?

Thoughts?

(Sorry if this is posted somewhere already, I did have a scan).  Merged:) * M.

I really hope that enough people will be upset to revoke such a foolish law. What is this? The dark ages?

The plot thickens gents. The above link is to another article from The Independent (one of the more reputable UK newspapers).

It now appears that the UK may seek to censor sites who publish content outside of the UK to people on out beloved Island. The article goes further to suggest this could be a prelude to a continual creep of trade restrictions in other areas to suit a government or market agenda.

This wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Often governments will start down a road like this by using something people are reluctant to voice opinion against (such as porn or other things such as child abuse(not trying to compare the 2 obviously)) and then creep that legislation over the years to include things that the general public value.

We have seen this with Pirate Bay. A blanket ban on the site was introduced under the pretence of stopping the hosting of child pornography. This is really just a method of starting the mechanisms of internet censorship and then over time rolling out that mechanism to other areas that the public wouldn't like it to be applied to. If you start by saying you are trying to protect children (like law makers are saying with relation to the topic for the thread) then anyone who argues against it will look like they agree with abusing children.

Once you have created the framework it is more difficult to stop the process over the years so you can see very clearly what is happening here is very convenient for a pre set long term agenda.

Is what i've written nonsense? Is it a ramble (yes!). What do you guys think of the article's wider implications of this proposed legislation.

On the plus side it might mean Mistress Whiplash is more available for private sessions!

Cheers stephen. Crazy laws. I can confirm that "Darkstar Girls" will close down by the end of December. They will no longer produce videos. I've also been informed that Honey "Lws" will start "removing" certain videos from her website. I just can't belive this has happened...
