even worse than that, they were so badly photocopied or what ever they did in those days as to be unreadable, some of these are so bad they are impossible to scan

I think they did a reasonable job considering they did not have computers. They would cut and glue the photo's to the master sheet and then photo copy the catalog. Can you remember sending off your postal orders for video tapes, and then waiting weeks for the brown package to arrive. Plus, they were not cheap back then, with most 30 min tapes costing £35-£40

Those were the days :-)
